Sharing Christ Along with
Kenya Highway
Dan Owens
December 2005
The
Lord has blessed us with invitations for ministry in 2006 in such places
as India, Pakistan, Romania, Nepal and Africa. However, returning to
Uganda just feels right as we work our way along the Kenyan Highway. The
Kenyan Highway is the only road that links Kampala, Uganda and Nairobi,
Kenya together. Mbale is along that highway, and so is Iganga, a very
important city in Uganda.
The Fellowship of Iganga Ministers has
invited us to come to their city in February of 2006 to help them reach
and teach their people. Carl Dawson has made one visit there already and
will be returning shortly. Our purpose once again will be to share
Christ through the preaching of the Word, the gifts of humanitarian
aide, and the laying on of hands with prayer. We are expecting the Lord
to continue to bless our partnership with the pastors there to see
thousands come to Christ and to see new churches established in the city
of Iganga along the Kenyan Highway. We are calling this mission:
Operation Kenyan Highway, praying that many travelers will find Christ.
We already have an experienced team of
people who will help us maximize our time there by sharing Christ in
many places and in many different ways. Please pray even now for all the
organizational details that go into an outreach like this. We have past
experience to learn from but not rely on. We need God’s vision and
wisdom for each new city we go to.
As we come to this Christmas Season, you can
help give someone the gift of eternal life! You make it possible for us
to preach, teach, train and alleviate suffering. Thank you for your gift
for souls!
